PARENT NOTE FOR WK OF July 7, 2008
Dear Parents:
This week's theme is "The Ocean" and we will be focusing on "Respect" as our character trait of the week. We had a great time celebrating America last week and I know the campers enjoyed all the competitive games -- I saw lots of medals and awards!
REMINDERS FOR WEEK OF JULY 7TH:

Monday - Swimming at the pool. Don't forget your towel, water shoes and change of clothes.

Tuesday - We will be going to the movies! LEAVING AT 9:00 AM ($5.00 optional snack money)

Wednesday - We will be heading to Port St. Lucie in the morning and then to the Fountains. The children need to wear their bathing suits to camp as there will be no time to change.

Thursday - We will be cast netting (seining) in the river. Again, please have children wear their bathing suits to camp. They also need water shoes or old tennis shoes to wear into the water. There is also a gift shop, so if you want to send extra money, you can.

Friday - No lunch needed, just snacks & drinks.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD HERE BY 8:45 AM TO BE SURE NOT TO MISS THE BUS. TYPICALLY WE LEAVE AT 9:00 AM, SO IT IS DIFFICULT TO ACCOMODATE A CHILD WHO ARRIVES AT THAT TIME AND STILL NEEDS TO CHANGE THEIR SHIRT. Thank you for your understanding.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- SCAMPS HOURS ARE 7:30 AM TO 5:30 PM
- Payment is due on Monday of each week (for the following week) and is considered late after Wednesday. There has been some confusion about this so if you are not paying one week in advance, please contact the office and we will explain it to you.
- Please do not let your child come to camp in flip-flops.
- We trust your child is enjoying his/her time at camp this year. We are blessed to have such a dedicated, caring SCAMPS staff. Thanks Ms. Angie, Ms. Jenn, Mr. Kevin, Mr. Tim, Ms. Jane & Ms. Emily!
