Director of Prayer and Women’s MinistriesKaron Addison 

/files/Images/Staff/addison_karon.jpg Karon is the Director of Prayer & Women's  and Primetimers ministries. She has been involved in ministry with her husband, Rick for 32 years serving in many capacities.  She and Rick married in 1974 and have two children which are grown.  Karon is on staff at The Grace Place Community Church and has a BA in Christian Education and a Master of Ministry from Moody Graduate School.  Her life verse is Philippians 4:13- “I- Karon – can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.  She enjoys reading, travel, movies, baking, and most of all being a Grammy to grandchildren- Ryan born in 2004 -  Talia born in 2007, Bentley born in 2010, Karlie born 2011.

Suzanne has been the bookkeeper at The Grace Place since 1999, taking care of financial matters for the church and preschool, including accounts receivable, payable and payroll. Suzanne feels blessed to be a part of what God is doing and to be on the team.

Suzanne committed her life to Jesus Christ at The Grace Place in 1996. She is married to Arthur Adams and has 4 children, Eli, Emily, Danny and Matthew. Suzanne was born in Massachusetts, moved to Kentucky at age 12 and has been a Florida resident since 1979.

Suzanne enjoys the women’s bible studies and the discipline of staying in the word. She loves reading, movies and board games, and her favorite verse is Jer. 29:11.



Preschool Director, Melissa Weimer

Melissa is the Director of the Preschool/Aftercare. She was born in Stratford, Connecticut. She moved to Florida in 1996 where she met her husband Tim.  Melissa started as a Teachers Assistant in 2002 and has taught at every level of Preschool.  She attends The Grace Place Church and has taken her passion for Children and Christ to the next level.  Melissa and her husband have two wonderful boys. They enjoy boating, beaching, camping and just being together. A favorite Bible verse of hers is "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9



Celebrate Recovery Director, Stephanie Johnston

Stephanie has been a member and worked at The Grace Place since 2002.  During her years at The Grace Place she has served in many areas.  Stephanie started out as the receptionist when we opened our Celebration Center in 2002.  Later she became the Office Manager and served in that capacity for over 5 years.  In 2005 our Celebrate Recovery ministry was started and she jumped at the opportunity to direct that ministry. Her heart is with helping hurting people with any hurt, habit or hang up. She has dealt with recovery issues in her family for the past several years and knows that this is the ministry she was born to do. Stephanie now serves fulltime in Celebrate Recovery and loves every minute of it!

 

Stephanie was born in Los Angeles, California.  She and her husband Bill have

3 sons and 4 grandchildren. They moved to Florida in 2002 and the rest of the family soon followed.  In her spare time she loves to spend time at the beach and enjoy her grandchildren.  One of her favorite verses is Matthew 19:26.  “Jesus looked at them and said , “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

 

 

Director of Worship Programming, Crystal Spriggs

 Crystal Spriggs joined the Grace Place ministry team in August, 2010.  She serves in music and drama ministry as a writer, producer and facilitator for the creative elements presented in our weekend services.  Crystal has been married to her best friend Phil for 23 years and has served in Christian School administration and teaching.  She received her B.A. in Business from Wheeling Jesuit University. She is also pursuing ordination with the Wesleyan Church.  She is the mother of three wonderful children; Jessica, Daniel and Bethany.  Her passion is helping others to use their musical, acting and creative abilities to further the kingdom of Christ.

Mark joined the team of The Grace Place in January 2011 as Operations Manager after leaving his position with Hospice of Palm Beach County. Mark and his wife Cindy have attended The Grace Place since moving to Florida in June 2008. Mark is originally from Delaware. He and Cindy were involved in full time ministry for 6 ½ years while living in St. Louis before having to move back to Maryland to care for a terminally ill family member. Mark and Cindy have one son, Michael and a daughter-in-law Erin who reside in Missouri in full time ministry work.

Mark and Cindy had the pleasure of leading the singles group, Fusion. They have led in prayer vigils and are volunteer prayer warriors. They are currently part of the Prayer Team, First Impressions and Mark is involved with the Kingdom Cruisers.

Mark enjoys all sports, racing and riding his motorcycles. He and Cindy first and foremost desire to be in God’s will and always yearn to be in full time ministry. Mark’s favorite Scripture is Philippians 2:5; Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus
