Director of Prayer and Women’s MinistriesKaron Addison 

/files/Images/Staff/addison_karon.jpg Karon is the Director of Prayer & Women's ministries. She has been involved in ministry with her husband, Rick for 30 years serving in many capacities.  She and Rick married in 1974 and have two children which are grown.  Karon is on staff at The Grace Place Community Church and has a BA in Christian Education and a Master of Ministry from Moody Graduate School.  Her life verse is Philippians 4:13- “I- Karon – can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.  She enjoys travel, movies, baking, and most of all being a Grammy to grandchildren- Ryan born in 2004 - Eric and Blanca's son and Jonathan's children Talia born in 2007 and Bentley born in 2010.

Suzanne has been the bookkeeper at The Grace Place since 1999, taking care of financial matters for the church and preschool, including accounts receivable, payable and payroll. Suzanne feels blessed to be a part of what God is doing and to be on the team.

Suzanne committed her life to Jesus Christ at The Grace Place in 1996. She is married to Arthur Adams and has 4 children, Eli, Emily, Danny and Matthew. Suzanne was born in Massachusetts, moved to Kentucky at age 12 and has been a Florida resident since 1979.

Suzanne loves working with the youth in middle school ministry as a volunteer, she enjoys the women’s bible studies and the discipline of staying in the word. She loves reading, movies and board games, and her favorite verse is Jer. 29:11.

Lorraine directs the Preschool and SCAMPS Summer Camp ministries at The Grace Place.  She is married and has five daughters.  She has been a member of The Grace Place since 1989.  She began teaching preschool in 1993 and has a Child Development Associate and a Director’s Credential.  She has recently served on the Board of Directors for The Early Learning Coalition of Indian River, Martin and Okeechobee Counties.  Lorraine has a heart for children and considers it a privilege to minister to the children and families of Martin County.

 

Celebrate Recovery Director, Stephanie Johnston

Stephanie has been a member and worked at The Grace Place since 2002.  During her years at The Grace Place she has served in many areas.  Stephanie started out as the receptionist when we opened our Celebration Center in 2002.  Later she became the Office Manager and served in that capacity for over 5 years.  In 2005 our Celebrate Recovery ministry was started and she jumped at the opportunity to direct that ministry. Her heart is with helping hurting people with any hurt, habit or hang up. She has dealt with recovery issues in her family for the past several years and knows that this is the ministry she was born to do. Stephanie now serves fulltime in Celebrate Recovery and loves every minute of it!

 

Stephanie was born in Los Angeles, California.  She and her husband Bill have

3 sons and 4 grandchildren. They moved to Florida in 2002 and the rest of the family soon followed.  In her spare time she loves to spend time at the beach and enjoy her grandchildren.  One of her favorite verses is Matthew 19:26.  “Jesus looked at them and said , “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Megan graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in May of 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education. She is originally from Marion, Indiana. Moving to Stuart, Florida was Megan’s great adventure for God. Megan has been at The Grace Place since September 2008. Megan loves children’s ministry and is excited to spend time with the children each weekend. She is excited about what God is doing in the lives of the families here at The Grace Place. Megan’s life verse is 1 Corinthians 9:19- Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
