Drama Team

 The Drama Team is a key part of our weekend worship service.  Dramas are presented that are relevant to real life and everyday situations. Drama is a wonderful way to get people to feel, while identifying with the characters and their situations.  Drama is an effective tool to introduce and support the message being presented. As the real challenges of life are revealed, needs are exposed, making the message better received.

  • Drama scripts are selected two to three weeks prior to the service
  • The drama is cast according to the actor's character and availability
  • Rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings two weeks prior to the weekend service
  • There is a final run thru Saturday afternoon before the scheduled service

Drama is open to all who enjoy theater and the arts.  We also have opportunites for people "behind the scenes" who...

  • Build or paint sets
  • Write scripts
  • Operate sound or lighting equipment
  • Sew costumes or other items
  • Move props
  • Prepare, serve or clean up for the dinner drama
  • Help with ticket sales/reservations
  • Put up advertising posters
