Membership At The Grace Place - Getting Started
Learn more about The Grace Place with our fun, easy, 3-step membership process. Each class brings more understanding, and potentially into a lay leadership position. You can progress at your own speed - classes are on Sunday evenings for approximately two hours with child care provided.
Class 101 - Who We Are & What We Believe
You'll learn the history and mission of the church and understand what a new paradigm church is. In Class 101 you'll discover The Grace Place's Beliefs and Core Values. You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions and find out how to get involved in ministry at The Grace Place.
Class 201 - The Value & Responsibilities of Membership
What is a "Strategically Driven Church"? What are the benefits, responsibilities and requirements of membership? You'll find out by attending Class 201. You'll also have the opportunity to become an official member of the church by signing the Membership Covenant.
Class 301 - Discovering Your Ministry Gifts
God has uniquely gifted you for service to His Body, the Church. In Class 301 you'll explore your ministry S.H.A.P.E. (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Attitude, Personality, Experiences) and discover where and how you can serve God most effectively. You'll also learn the spiritual qualifications needed for a lay leader, God's expectations of leaders and more.
